This was hard but I had to go see my car today. Thank God a #RollsRoyce is built with highly reinforced steel because it saved our lives 🙏🏻 Time to heal and let my body repair. pic.twitter.com/5YY5CVpl1V

On April 16, Star and his long time friend Daniel Lucas were in a car accident after the beauty moguls’ Rolls-Royce hit black ice and flipped three times. The two were hospitalized for injuries, Star suffered spinal injuries and was released the next day.
“My vertebrae, three of them are not attached right now. And I am in the most excruciating pain ever,” said Star. He went on to say that he will be in a brace for the next few months to ensure his back heals properly.
Lucas on the other hand suffered internal injuries and complications due to his past battles with colon cancer. Lucas has since been flown home to Nevada to undergo surgery.
We woke up crying happy tears today. So thankful for everyone’s out pouring love 💯 To everyone who wished death upon Daniel and I, we pray you find happiness within yourself.
Today he’s having more tests done and might need surgery. I’m now discharged 🏥 pic.twitter.com/35QZaShgDO— Jeffree Star (@JeffreeStar) April 17, 2021
After the accident, trolls made jokes and even wished death upon the beauty influencer, Star is used to hate and brushed off the comments. However, when allegations arose that the accident was staged to promote his latest business venture, Star Lounge, which features cannabis-related products.
People are really sick in the fucking head. I’ve been told my crash photos were fake and not mine because Jeffree Star doesn’t have a black car!! If I don’t post something, that means it’s not real right??? 😒 I’ve had both cars for months. Let me heal and stop being evil!!!! pic.twitter.com/GYFyULMPXW

Star was disgusted and took to Instagram to speak on the matter. The business owner said he was receiving emails and phone calls from the press asking for comments on the situation.
“Whoever is even thinking of writing a story like that, or you already have, you’re ******* awful,” said Star
“Did Jeffree fake an accident to sell some weed merch? Some ******* bathrobes and weed jars? Are you guys out of your ******* mind?” said Star, who also mentioned that Lucas had also been “harassed” with such questions.
