It has been nearly three months since rapper and government informant, Daniel “6ix9ine” Hernandez has been released from prison after pleading guilty to charges related to gang activity in New York back in February 2019 (then sentenced in January of 2020 after testifying against associates from the Nine Trey Gangsters gang).
Since his release, Hernandez, a.k.a. Nino Brown, has been on house arrest and going on social media, stirring up drama with several rappers and entertainers, who publicly criticized the Brooklyn rapper for trolling and promoting “rat” behavior.
Several people that Hernandez has been going back and forth with on social media are rappers Snoop Dogg, Meek Mill, G Herbo, Rich The Kid, & the latest, Jay Critch.
Last Monday, the 24-year old rapper released a new song entitled, “Punani” and also a music video for the new single. The rapper released this new single, shortly after it was announced that he was finally off of house arrest and free to walk the streets.

Since the release of the songs “Punani” and “Gooba”, 6ix9ine decided to take it to the streets as it is shown in a couple of Instagram story posts and live videos that he is walking through his native Brooklyn neighborhood and throughout the city of New York.
In a most recent video, it shows the rapper taking a New York City subway and being careless. Since then, a New York City conductor called out 6ix9ine for entering the subway train without a mask and not following the rules on the train according to COVID-19 guidelines issued by the City of New York.

What are your thoughts? Do you think 6ix9ine is taking it far with the trolling and glorifying “rat” behavior? Should he be stopped?
