Two very talented and experienced Dior national makeup artists, Erica Munger and Ivan Lozada, came together this weekend to put on a beauty show at Nordstrom Phipps Plaza in Atlanta.
Erica Munger’s beauty career started in 2010. She has done many runways, commercial shoots, fashion shows, and bridal makeup in the past 8 years. Aside from makeup, she is the CEO and Chief Digital Marketing Strategist at High Powered Help here in Atlanta! Erica believes service to others above self is a cornerstone of conducting business with integrity. She has a charitable heart, and believes helping others succeed is the key to success.
Her partner, Ivan Lozada has over 12 years of professional makeup artist experience. He is a former L’Oréal skin care specialist and Mac Cosmetic professional artist. During the show, Lozada opened up by saying:
“Christian Dior is not here to make you more beautiful, but more happier.”
Lozada demonstrated the steps to apply skin products, correct ways to apply makeup, must do’s and don’ts and how to choose the correct line of skin products. Dior’s line of skin products contain no alcohol, which is good for the skin because it will not dry it out or burn it.
Guests were able to follow along and apply their own skin products and makeup with the help of others and Dior’s beauty specialists.
Two of the MANY beauty products that were introduced that I want to share are Dior’s forever undercover foundation and their mascara, Dior show.
This foundation comes in many different shades, water-based, and includes 24-hour full coverage. It is extremely light and it is used to enhance your complexion and even areas that requires coverage. It is $52 on Dior’s website.
The Dior show mascara is AMAZING! The guests loved it and people would think that you have on fake lashes! This mascara will give you fuller, longer lashes that last all day! If you do not believe me, just check out one of the models lashes below. It is $29.50 on Dior’s website.
During the last hour of the event, Munger taught guests how to contour and how to achieve a smokey-eye. If you missed this one, I’m sure Erica Munger will be partnering with many more professional artists and present another phenomenal event like this one soon!
