Remember admiring your older siblings and relatives style growing up, wishing someone could come forth and create similar designs for kidswear? Well 7-year-old Giana has put her creative mind to the test and launched her first exclusive capsule streetwear collection for kids on March 24th. Partnering with Haus of JR, each t-shirt features Giana’s artwork, including renditions from designers like Supreme and Dior.
Giana’s love for art began at the young age of three. When several other children were wrapped up playing with barbie dolls and go-figures, the young Filipina-Mexican was focused on artistry. She would grab her mom’s extensive collection of high-end fashion magazines and allow her mind to soar, recreating and freehand drawing the images in her view. Giana later took her love for design from her home and extended her creativity to the outer world. She displayed her work in several pop up shows across the country, highlighting her love for art, color, fashion and design. What child do you know has been building their resume from the age of 3?
Now she’s not only an artist, but a fashion designer as well. Where was she when I was growing up? Check out Giana rocking a few pieces from her collection below.
