I am a brunch girl to the fullest. Unlimited mimosas, bacon and cheese are usually on the menu, and the best part is you don’t have to get up early. It’s two meals in one so you feel like you save money. Key word is “feel” there, but my latest brunch meal that did not break the budget was West Egg Cafe off Howell Mill Rd.
Open M-F 7am-4pm, and Saturday and Sunday 8am-5pm, the cafe mainly sticks to a brunch/lunch menu.
I’m a southern girl, and a sucker for fried green tomatoes. I ordered the Peachtree Plate complete with two eggs any style*, brown sugar bacon, pimiento cheese grits, fried green tomatoes, biscuit.
Pimiento cheese anything is from God himself. And it was only $12.50.
I also tried the Salmon Cakes Benedict and Challah French Toast w/ fresh fruit. All was superb, they have Steak & eggs, and a fried egg breakfast sandwich I look forward to tasting next time.
West Egg Cafe is located at 1100 Howell Mill Rd. Atlanta, GA 30318.
