Yesterday was Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals between the Warriors and the Rockets. The Game took place at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. This game was crucial in this series because it would determine if the Warriors would have the upper hand or if the Rockets would tie the series. Well, last night the Rockets won the game, but it was a super close game. The score was 95-92, the Warriors had the last possession of the night but unfortunately were not able to score in the last few seconds. I normally talk about the winning team first, but today I wanted to switch it up since the score was so close. The Warriors started off phenomenally but teetered off in the second half. They were 35/89(39.3%)for field goals, 9/27(33.3%)for three-pointers, and 13/14(92.9%) for free throws. They also had 49 rebounds, 14 assists, 6 steals, and 3blocks. The leading players were Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Draymond Green.
Stephen Curry has been on fire since Game 3 and has definitely regained his mojo. He played 39 minutes and scored 29 points, 2 assists, and 6 rebounds.
Kevin Durant played 43 minutes, scored 27 points, had 3 assists, and 12 rebounds.
Draymond Green had 11 points, 8 assists, and 14 rebounds. He also played the most minutes with 45 total.
The Rockets were 30/77(39%) for field goals, 12/38(31.6%) for three-pointers, and 23/27(85.2%) for free throws. They also had 41 rebounds, 12 assists, 7 steals, and 9 blocks. The leading players were James Harden, Chris Paul, and Eric Gordon.
James Harden played most of the game with 43 minutes, he also had 30 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds.
Chris Paul played 42 minutes scored 27 points, 4 assists, and 2 rebounds.
Eric Gordon who came off the bench played 35 minutes and contributed with 14 points, 1 assist, and 1 rebounds.
