Young Thug delivered So Much Fun in the summer of 2019, and the deluxe edition is set to drop this Friday to close out the year.
Thug took to Instagram on Wednesday, Dec. 19, to announce the release of So Much Fun deluxe version. The post included the original album cover with a slight change of the cover in red instead of green. The caption reads, “Deluxe out Friday… FT. r*** ***t* ****a,” which some have put together that the special features are Travis Scott and Gunna.
The original version of So Much Fun included features from Future, Gunna, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, J. Cole, and several more. Young Thug’s single “The London,” was a hit of the year and nominated for a 2020 GRAMMY, making it the first GRAMMY nomination for Thug.
Recently, Young Thug mentioned in an interview that he will be dropping his second album, Punk, in February. He also told Rolling Stone that the new album is very different from the first because it expresses his real life.
“The difference from that and Punk is Punk is me letting them in on my real life,” He told Rolling Stone. “Me letting them know all the situations I’ve been through. Opening up, letting the fans in, I feel like I never let ‘em. I feel like I was always quite about certain things, because of people.”
However, Young Thug didn’t give many details on a date that we should be receiving the Punk album or even features on the album, but until then we get to enjoy new tracks from him on the So Much Fun Deluxe Edition.
