Westside Gunn is back with a surprise project, dropping it just before his highly anticipated album Flygod Is an Awesome God III (Trilogy). The Griselda founder shared on Instagram that he made the entire album in just one day while in a Paris studio. Initially in Paris to mix and master Flygod 3, Gunn caught a creative wave and produced an entire project on the spot. The rapper hinted at this unexpected drop and promised fans that he’s still on top of his game despite being busy with wrestling and fashion ventures.
An unreleased track played in the background of his video, giving fans a teaser of what’s to come. Although Flygod 3 doesn’t have a release date yet, Westside Gunn has already dubbed it “Album of the Year” material. Despite stating last year that And Then You Pray For Me would be his last traditional studio album, Gunn continues to evolve creatively, proving his dedication to the craft and keeping fans on their toes.
