After a rocky end to his 2017, Trouble is back and already making major moves to start off the new year. He recently signed a deal with fellow Atlanta producer, Mike Will Made It’s Ear Drummer alignment along with Interscope. This announcement was followed up by one revealing the two would be releasing a collab project titled Edgewood.
The East Atlanta rapper named the project after his old stomping grounds, as the tape is “based on a true story” of his experiences being from the hood. He was able to snag some big name features for a few tracks, including Drake in “Bring It Back”. Quavo, The Weeknd, and Fetty Wap also make appearances on the project.
Mike Will commented on the pairing, saying, “Trouble is the only person from the city who’s going to give you that raw, pure, honest, real rap, mixed with originality, new flavor, new flows and new lingo,” Mike Will said following the signing. “He has the grind, work ethic, and dedication to back it up and the city knows.”
Edgewood is out now and you can listen to the 16 track tape on Apple Music today.
