The Game brought praise to fellow Compton native Kendrick Lamar for his recent album DAMN. that debuted just last month. Game, studying the album and all, revealed that DAMN. was the motivation for his next and apparently final album Westside Story which he began working on the album last night with none other than “Kung Fu Kenny” himself.
Earlier last night, Game posted the picture above on Instagram of him and Kendrick grabbing some food- confirming that the Westside Story collaboration is in swing and further revealing that both him and Kendrick will soon be hitting the studio.
If Kendrick does, in fact, show up on Westside Story, this would be the third time he’s been featured on an album from The Game. Kendrick was featured in 2011’s The R.E.D. Album ( track “The City”) and 2015’s The Documentary (track “On Me”). However, it seems although that Westside Story is in the beginning stages of development, but The Game said from last month that the album would be “coming soon”
