The ‘Verzuz‘ series has been keeping many people around the world entertained during these times of the pandemic. The series consists of musical artists going against each other as they play their own hit songs for viewers to decide which one was better. The most recent Verzuz being between two of the most known rappers in the industry, Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy.
The two rap stars have had a decade-long beef, which started over a disagreement about the rights to Mane’s 2005 single “Icy” featuring Young Jeezy and Boo. Which sooner led to a rapper a part of Jeezy’s crew Henry Lee Clark III a.k.a. Pookie Loc being shot and killed after attempting to rob Gucci Mane.
It was announced on November 15th that the two would be in the same room for the first time in years for this legendary Verzuz battle. Many people didn’t expect the two to agree with doing this, especially with the beef between them.

People could obviously sense the tension in the room between Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy, but that did not stop the hilarious reactions from social media about the intense hits battle between the two.

The Verzuz battle ended with both Jeezy and Gucci Mane putting their differences aside and squashing the decade long beef between them. Which came off as a shock to others with the subtle shade that was being thrown during the Verzuz battle.
