I had the pleasure of covering a live event at the Music Room located at 327 Edgewood Ave, Atlanta Ga. The venue has an intimate vibe, with close seating and semi elevated stage. Hosted by Mike Mars and Kasket Gal DJ Davi was set to host Jan. 29, and new artists were invited to showcase their talent to a live crowd. This is not my first live music event, but I appreciated the on time start and the free giveaways. Some of the performers were:
RGM- (@regimemajoratl) They are a hip hop group of three artists Rogie dollar, Lorzarrti, and 100 dollars. They performed their singles “Ring Ring“, and “100 miles“. Overall the group had a great on stage presence, very colorful clothes, kinda a 90s vibe, that reminded me of Will Smith. I liked the lyrical content, and the crowd was feeling them as well.
Kash the Goddess- (@kashthegoddess)- was the only female artist there, She had platinum blonde hair that was attention grabbing, and overall her songs had a very cool sexy, R&B vibe. She performed her singles “Blessed” and “24“. She also has a mixtape entitled G.S.M. Available now!
Poindexter- was one artist that was very outgoing, connected with the crowd, and seemed to have an out going personality. The crowd actually drew in as he performed, and his songs seemed to have lil uzi/ young thug influences but he still made it his own. He performed his song “Double Gun“.
Overall the performances were very well put together along with the event. I would definitely recommend the Music Room if you are planning a live music event in the Atlanta area. You can check out the details here.
