Hot girls get tired too! Megan Thee Stallion announced is taking some time away from the limelight to recharge.
The rapper posted three futuristic posts to her Instagram. The first being a close up image of Megan’s face, her skin is flawless and makeup is on point per usual, however, the star’s eyes are shut and she is hooked up to a respirator. This image is now the profile photo for all of her social media accounts.

The next post was a silent video which showed the “Cry Baby” rapper encapsulated in a water-filled incubator. The contraption is also attached to a laptop and sits in the center of what appears to be a laboratory. The respirator is still over Megan’s face while she sports a newspaper print bodysuit. This outfit was also worn in a promo photo for her album “Good News,” which was released back in November.

Fans began to speculate that Megan was going to announce a deluxe or extended version of the album. Instead of new music, fans got a message in the artist’s final post. A heartbeat, heart monitor, and typing can be heard in the cryptic video as words appear on the laptop from the prior post.
“Megan Thee Stallion is recharging! Due to the demands of the Hot Girl lifestyle <Meg> has now entered a period of regeneration to prepare for what’s next.
…. In her absence; mgmt will manage all social posting on behalf of Thee Hot Girl Coach.
[[Thee Hotties]] lead a brave //RESISTANCE in anticipation for the return of their Fearless Captain!” read the message.

Megan herself later took to twitter, “I’ll be back when it’s time 🔥,” she wrote.

The announcement of her hiatus came as a shock, just last week the 26-year-old released a music video for her song “Movie” featuring Lil Durk, where the two can be seen partying it up in a strip club.
However, it’s understandable that Megan needs a rest after carrying home three Grammys back in March, two of which were for her “Savage Remix” featuring Beyoncé.
The rapper is set to perform at multiple upcoming festivals from the months of July through September, so it’s fair to predict the “Hot Girl” will only be m.i.a for about three months. Nevertheless, she will be missed by fans and we hope she enjoys her well-deserved time off.
