Lil Pump is no longer a free agent. Previously, Lil Pump had reportedly signed a deal with Warner Bros. Records for a pretty significant amount, but the deal was never finalized. It seems to be now.
In the past year since the rapper’s, “Gucci Gang” viral success, there has been much speculation as to the artist was going to belong to on paper, technically. Well, when the deal with Warner Bros. Record fell short due to legal issues dealing with the artist’s age and many other things, many were looking to recruit him.
The two biggest cats who wanted Lil Pump on their team was Atlanta rapper, Gucci Mane, and DJ Khaled. Previously, Pump had been seen flexing with a “1017” chain. It was said Gucci told Pump to “name his price”, a deal almost no one could pass up on, especially from an OG like himself.
While this rumors seemed to only remain rumors, it has now been declared Lil Pump is back with Warner Bros. Records for the next seven years. He was also set off with a $8M advance. It is said the artist will receive an increment in millions every year and will remain in hands of Warner Bros Records.
Seven years is a long time, but if he is looking for longevity, it will be interesting where Lil Pump ends up in this decade. The artist is only 17 years old and one of the youngest in the game. Let’s see what heights the rapper is willing and able to reach next.
