Killer Mike, after his Grammy-winning success with “Michael,” is releasing a companion album, “Songs For Sinners & Saints.” This project dives deeper into the gospel influences of his previous work and is a collaboration with his touring gospel group, The Mighty Midnight Revival. The album, credited to Michael & The Mighty Midnight Revival, features tracks like “Humble Me” and includes collaborations with artists such as Project Pat, Offset, Blxst, Key Glock, and Anthony Hamilton.
Killer Mike describes this album as a testimonial, reflecting on his trials, tribulations, and triumphs. He draws inspiration from the tradition of public testimony in church services, aiming to speak to both sinners and saints.
The album will be live-streamed at 10:30 PM ET on Wednesday, July 31, with a special guest appearance by EL-P.
