Juicy J is a legend in the rap game with almost thirty years of experience in the business. The Memphis rapper made an Instagram post standing in front of Columbia Records with a message fans would embrace. He was considered for the new CEO/president role at Columbia Records.
“I’m about to bring something new to this game”, says Juicy J. Even though he is currently signed to Columbia, he still has an amazing ear for talent. Not only did he discovered his infamous rap group Three Six Mafia in the ’90s, but Columbia Records also has artist like Beyoncé, Tyler the Creator, and Pharrell signed to the label.
He has worked with artists such as Travis Scott, Wiz Khalifa, and many more. Columbia Records have not yet made any comments on the situation. There’s also no word on if he was officially chosen for the opportunity or not. We are all rooting for Juicy J and awaiting new projects he may possess with TGOD MAFIA or as a solo act.
