For Jay Z and Linkin Park, they will forever be entwined with one another because of their collaborative Collision Course mash- up EP back in 2004, which bridged the gap between rock and rap music.
This past Saturday was an astronomical one for Jay Z fans in the U.K. as he touched down on British soil, for the first time since Chester Bennington’s death last month. He paid tribute to the late collaborator by performing “Numb/Encore” which was one of the most groundbreaking songs off of the collaborative album at the V Festival in Staffordshire, England.
Jay also performed some 4:44 tracks for the very first time LIVE including songs such as “The Story of O.J.,” “Family Feud,” and “Smile.”
Because of both contributions from Jay Z and the late Chester Bennington, music genres can be paired together fluidly to produce masterpieces.
