Doja Cat continues to bring fans everything they love about her in the release of her music video for “Streets.”
The “Streets” video, released on March 8, showcases the infamous silhouette challenge that took over TikTok. It had fans creating their own videos of their silhouettes while using the new single and making it known.
Doja brings a sexy persona, in the music video, as she wheels in men and makes them mesmerized by her with her silhouette from a store’s display. It then transitions to a lap dance given by Doja in lingerie when the man falls for her, and Doja appears as a spider while holding the man captive in her web.

She raps, “Tryna keep him ’cause I found him/ Let a ho know I ain’t mother f***in’ sharing/ I could take you to the parents, then to Paris/ Plan a mother f***in’ wedding/ You the type I wanna marry and keep you merry/ I’ll put the ring on when you ready.”
The Hot Pink artist’s music has been taking off on TikTok. Her last single to blow up on the newish platform was “Say So” in 2019, which incorporated a dance choreography and was on the charts. Doja even featured the dance in her “Say So” music video, just as she did for “Streets.”
According to Buzzfeed News, the first silhouette challenge posted was on Jan. 14, which the single was released in Nov. 2019. Since then, several artists and celebrities have taken on the challenge and posted their versions.
