Last week, Francis and the Lights dropped the music video for “May I Have This Dance” highlighting some smooth moves and a feature from Chance the Rapper.
The video is the official remix on Francis’ Farewell, Starlite. This song has the right balance between pop music and electronic rhythm radiating Phil Collins vibes on vocals.
This isn’t the first enchanting work Francis and the Lights and Chance have created. Francis and the Lights contributed to the light-hearted cut “Wonderful Everyday: Arthur” on The Social Experiment (SoX) 2014 mixtape featured on Chance’s SoundCloud. More notably, Francis and the Lights provided the melodic intro for “Summer Friends” off of Chance’s Coloring Book.
The video was originally released on Francis and the Lights’ YouTube channel with some additional help from Chance’s Twitter blasts. So far, the video has over 1.6 million views and climbing.
