Artist You Oughta Know: Sabrina Claudio

With the ease of creating music on an iPhone, uploaded songs on Soundcloud, and using social media as a marketing platform, it can be challenging to sift through all the channels to find music that actually resonates. Indie artists are now the wave of the music industry.  Sabrina Claudio is the melodic and captivating wave you do not want to miss. Her music is soft and refreshing with an element of sensuality, which we experience on her latest project “About Time”. The album is a compilation of 12 seductive tracks all of which Sabrina wrote herself.

On her single “Unravel Me”, she takes us on a journey through her struggle with a love that has expired but is hard to let go of because of the fear of hurting someone we still care about. 

Sabrina also dives into the struggles of unreciprocated love and feeling like things are one sided on the song “Wanna Know”. A common theme, however, in all of Sabrina’s songs is self confidence. Sabrina is aware of her worth and is not willing to compromise that to not be alone. And we will not make her.

Sabrina sings about feelings that are all too familiar to many and expresses a sense of self worth that we all should exhibit. She is able to express exactly how we are feeling so elegantly that you will forget that you were stressing over impending break-ups and confused emotions.
