6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj have made history by reaching over 46 million views in less than 24 hours with their collaborated visual for “Trollz.” The single, which was released on Friday, became a hit for fans. The two rappers also set aside a portion of the proceeds to donate to The Bail Project, which helps to bail out protesters.
In the video, Nicki freely shows off her body in a rainbow bikini while sitting in a pool. 6ix9ine can be found with rainbowed hair rapping to the song and holding a kitten. The two artists also share a bowl of cereal, while Tekashi feeds Nicki a spoonful of rainbow cereal, and in another scene, she pours the gallon of milk onto his head.
The rappers take turns speaking to their haters in “Trollz,” as 6ix9ine raps about people not liking him and expresses that he doesn’t worry about them, as they do. He also mentions that his haters only speak about him because they want attention.
“I know you don’t like me, you wanna fight me,” he raps. “You don’t want no problems at your party, don’t invite me/ I don’t worry ’bout you ni***s, please stop talking ’bout me/ Always talking ’bout me ’cause you looking for the clouty.”
Nicki addresses those who watch her every move on social media, but never interact with her. She even takes a shot at those who claim she doesn’t write her raps and expresses that other rappers study her game.
“My flow’s still sick, I ain’t talkin’ a pandemic,” she raps. “I write my own lyrics, a lot of these bitches gimmicks/ They study Nicki style, now all of them wan’ mimic.”
A portion of the profit from this single, including all the merch, is set to go to The Bail Project Inc. This will help provide bail for those being held in jail from protesting during the Black Lives Matter protest. The merch can be found on each of their official sites for Nicki Minaj and 6ix9ine.
