Netflix’s true-crime docuseries “Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness” became a hit. The seven-part series follows a number of big cat owners, breeders, and conservationists in the US, but primarily focusing on the bitter feud between Joe Exotic and rival Carole Baskin. According to Variety, an eight-episode will be produced by CBS Television and Image Television Studio, and Nicolas Cage is set to play the infamous Tiger King, Joseph Maldonado-Passage a.k.a. Joe Exotic. The series pulls from Leif Reigstad’s Texas Monthly article “Joe Exotic: A Dark Journey Into the World of a Man Gone Wild.” TMZ, Joe Exotic is going to be the face of an upcoming line of streetwear. The new line is being called “REVENGE” and will include graphic T-shirts, hoodies, and joggers with his face and tigers.
Odain Watson, singer/songwriter, and owner of the streetwear brand Odaingerous, told TMZ that he’s partnering with Joe Exotic on an upcoming line of limited edition clothes. According to Watson, they’ve already been in contact and discussing details through prison calls and letters since the release of “Tiger King,” back in March.
