The iconic band Fleetwood Mac, was known before the new lead singer came along, Stevie Nicks, and after she came along the band took off. The second album becoming the most well-known and popular album for its’ songs like “Dreams”, “Rhiannon”, and “Go Your Own Way.” These iconic songs are popular even to this day and still gaining popularity because of their soothing melodies. It became widely popular and Stevie Nicks became known for her inspiring stylish outfits that made way for the modern-witch outfits.
Over, the years there have been rumors that Stevie Nicks herself is a witch for being known for wearing long shawls and fringe that were mostly black hats, boots, and cloaks. Making this look timeless and to be loved/ adored by many fans for years to come. The question is though, is Stevie a witch?
In the horror/thriller tv show American Horror Story: Apocalypse Stevie Nicks appeared as herself, but with a little twist in an episode where she met a witch who has one of her biggest fans and performed for her. Stevie Nicks plays a “White Witch” where she writes songs and plays with her band Fleetwood Mac, but witches over the years have interpreted her songs to come and find out she is also one of them, including her biggest fan and witch character, Misty Day.
Unfortunately, desiring to play a powerful natural-born witch on TV, Stevie has made multiple statements about how she is not a witch. That she simply just loves wearing black and that one of her songs “Rhiannon” is about a witch, but she is not talking about herself and she herself is not one. So, if you believed Stevie Nicks was a witch she isn’t, but don’t let that change your love for her iconic music.
