A$AP Rocky is all for making statements, so him returning to Sweden after being jailed, was the biggest statement yet.
On Dec. 10, Rocky held a “free” concert in Stockholm, Sweden, where he performed in and on top of a cage. The show was originally free for everyone who lived in low-income areas, but due to security issues, fans had to pay a charge for entrance. According to the New York Times, Rocky made it affordable by charging fans 1 Swedish krona, which is 11 cents in the U.S.
During the concert, he took a moment to speak about him being arrested. Flacko told fans that he brought everyone together for “love and unity.” Rocky showed appreciation to his fans by thanking them for buying a ticket, even though there might be some struggling.
The show was originally set to take place in a detention center, but officials said that there were specific security requirements that weren’t able to be met. According to the New York Times, Rocky also wanted to give back to migrants by donating all proceeds to a charity that helps them. He took to Twitter to express his thoughts on the situation.
EVEN WHEN IM DENIED ACCESS TO DONATE OR PERFORM FOR THE INMATES IN SWEDEN I STILL WANT TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR THE IMMIGRANTS AND POOR PPL OF OUTSIDE SURROUNDING AREAS , THIS HAS BEEN A DIFFICULT JOURNEY , BUT I FEEL ITS MY TASK TO GIVE BACK TO PPL WHO SUPPORTED ME WHEN I WAS DOWN

Back in June, the New York native was battling a trial of being guilty of assault. The fight began after Sweden residents harassed and followed Rocky and his team around Sweden. After, Rocky was arrested and claimed that it was self-defense. After being detained for some time, he was later released.
Now, Rocky is back and making it clear that he is here to stay. Check out the clip below of his performance.
