Christmas is that special time that little ones eyes are full of wonder and expectancy to see exactly what is under the tree. Now that your home is a reflection of a winter wonderland and the spiral ham is roasting low and slow in the oven, lets focus on some holiday makeup, hair and nail ideas that can please the crowd!
Nails:
Yesterday my two sisters and I went to my favorite nail salon for a routine pedicure and manicure. As our nails soak, my sister questioned what color she should rock to represent the holiday. If you want to be festive, sparkles or anything with glitter can do the job. At this point your nails can be transferable; perfect for Christmas and the New Years holiday. If you want to take it to the next level, you can always color block. Have every other nail encrusted in glitter and the other nails a solid color that compliments the sparkle. For my nails I usually go with the classic gel base and overlay manicure. Its simple, classy, and provides the clean look I love. If you want to go crazy, just think of confetti and toss it all over your nails.
Hair:
Who wants to spend all day doing their hair and by the end of the night its flat as a pancake? Why not take the stress off yourself and play it simple. A braided crown that goes around your head its always a quick style with cute results.
Desire an easier style? Why not go with a messy bun or sleek ponytail. That always gets the job done!
Make Up:
Because make up is supposed to be used to bring out the natural beauty in your face, do not focus so heavily on the hot trend. Simple always goes best. Settle for a plum, or wine like color. That is perfect for fall and Christmas. A sexy eye can never go wrong especially if you add extra eye shadow to the corners of your eyes to really make them stand out!
Still want a cute make up look for the holidays? Treat your eyes like a snowflake and let beautiful hues cover your eyelids.
