If you’re looking to add some spice to your Valentine’s Day weekend, BET has you covered. The entertainment production company is temporarily bringing back BET Uncut for the special day.
On Feb. 8, BET took to Twitter to make the big announcement that the classic show with explicit content would be making its comeback for a short time. It featured a static-like screen with the BET logo and show’s name written in red that gave off a nostalgic vibe. The post read, “11:30 PM…… #BETUncut” which hinted at the time it would appear on TV.
The follow-up Tweet brought in heat as to what is expected by including a Gif of Cardi B tongue kissing two women from her “Up” single. The week-long show will take on explicit videos and conversations opened-up to viewers to decide on the topics.
“We are bringing #BETUncut back temporarily all week long for Valentine’s Day weekend,” the Tweet read. “Completely uncensored conversations about any and anything you want!”

BET Uncut began in the early 2000s, where it showcased sexual rap videos that weren’t necessarily family-friendly for the daytime program. It would air three nights a week during late hours when children were asleep and adults were awake. According to Vulture, the show was canceled in 2006 after facing backlash for the aired videos.
Fans have already begun their BET Uncut discussions on Twitter and showing their excitement. Will you be joining in this Valentine’s Day weekend?
