Skinny jeans were originally made for smaller sized women, but have made way for everyone. Between 2009 and 2011, artists like New Boyz and The Rej3ctz took skinny jeans to another level as well as the fashion of other young artists and celebrities during that time. Slim fitting jeans became the new norm ever since.
Chokers and tiny sunglasses were small accessories that took a big turn between 2015 and 2017. These accessories added that extra oomph to any outfit. Celebrities like Rihanna, Bella Hadid, and Kendall Jenner wore the tiny sunglasses well throughout the years and chokers are the new go-to, edgy accessory.
Other fads from the decade like flower crowns, hair feathers, and shutter shades didn’t survive the decade, and for good reason.
