The youngest Jonas brother released his newest work called “Remember I Told You”. “Rockabye” singer, Anne-Marie joins him on this hot summer track while Mike Posner breaks it down on the bridge.
The single is filled with electronic dance rhythm paired with lyrical pleas to win back an old love. Nick Jonas and Anne-Marie harmonize over the words, “I have the suspicion you’re not being yourself. You’re probably somewhere, with someone I don’t know. That’s cool, that’s cool.”
Mike Posner lends a verse, adding some grit to the sweet vocals. Posner ends his feature with the poignant line, “Hate is just a fancy way saying that I care.”
This is only the second song Jonas has dropped this year. The first was “Bom Bidi Bom” with Nicki Minaj which was featured in Fifty Shades Darker.
Nick’s first solo album released in 2016, Last Year Was Complicated, gave us chart-toppers like “Close” and “Bacon”. Along with the rest and released just in time, this song is perfect for those summer drives with the windows rolled down.
Jonas has yet to reveal if “Remember I Told You” will be the first single off of his new album this year.
