Dr. Dre and Jimmy Lovine are the focus of upcoming HBO documentary The Defiant Ones, directed by Menace II Society’s Allen Hughes. For this four- part series, Hughes in a recent interview with Uproxx, spoke of the relationship between Dre’s business and whatever musical endeavors he is doing. According to Hughes, the booming billion-dollar headphone industry hasn’t deterred Dre from creating music.
“Dre still records…. Dre records every day. Literally, he’s in there recording songs every day. He’s like Picasso in that way….” he said.
Most particularly, Dre has been working with Eminem on his up and coming project, which seems like it might be well on its way to being completed.
Eminem has not released a title or release date, for what would be his ninth studio album. His last studio album he put out was The Marshall Mathers LP II back in 2013.
Just the other day, Em debuted a new beard that shocked the internet. Could this mean he’s been spending some hard work nights in the studio?
