What is the American Dream ? The answer to that is subjective , but any individual of the creative archetype got a sense of what their American Dream should be after experiencing King Saladeen’s Bear Season 2.0 Presentation at Eden Fine Arts gallery in SoHo, NY.
Art is a universal language. There is no language barrier to overcome through art. Art connects to us through the heart and King Saladeen’s Bear Season 2.0 collection at Eden Fine Art did just that. This past Friday , New York City and King Saladeen’s hometown, Philadelphia, PA came together to a celebrate a man that uses his art to inspire and put his city and his family’s surname on the map.
The energy at Eden Fine Art was through the roof ! Drinks were flowing , music was blasting, and all in attendance took the time to connect through their interpretation of what each of Saladeen’s art pieces meant to them. One of my favorite aspects of the event was the digital graffiti board in the room. Guests in attendance used it to express their own artistic freedom. Some individuals used it to promote their own personal brands while others used it to convey thought provoking messages. It was so cool to see these individuals just lock in and create their art in a room full of people watching their every move. This speaks to the power of art and how it can draw you in and take over your entire being.
King Saladeen wasn’t the only notable name in the building. Hot 97 DJ and Love and Hip Hop NY cast member, DJ Drewski , Brooklyn based artist Brian Kirhagis, and Hip Hop legend, Styles P, were all in attendance to show their love and appreciation for the amazing art work of King Saladeen.
As artists, musicians, and writers , our goal is to create art that others can appreciate and inspire a new generation of talent to use their artistic gift to impact the world. King Saladeen is living proof of that as he was able to garner the love and support of his peers as well as lift his entire city of Philadelphia. King Saladeen described it best when he said ” I just want to show my Guys something a little different then what we used to, so opportunity to me is a way out for all of us “. That is the American Dream that we should all strive for.
